Blistering Bluster.
Well, I have to say George Galloway certainly gave me a laugh when he dished it out in no uncertain terms to Norm Coleman and his sidekicks. Today I'm still laughing at the gullibility of the American people as they fall for the grandstanding and bluster of this insignificant little man. Has anyone over there actually bothered to look more closely into this mans background?
Presumably the lecture tours that are being talked about are purely for entertainment? Like comedy shows? They could never take George seriously, could they?

Oops, I think you must be talking about me, gullible American that I am. We try to keep up with politics in your part of the world but, damn, you can only read so many blogs! Remember that most Americans (including me) had never heard of Galloway before that hearing. The points he presented were valid points, regardless of his background. Just having someone elucidate them to the current brainwashed and retarded administration and its followers was enough to have us cheering.
I haven't read anything further about him, but if he is being recruited for lectures in this country, it's fine by me, as long as he presents the issues in an unimpeachable way.
After your reply to my comment a few days ago, I read your links. His personal life may well be full of deceit, cruelty and hypocrisy. I don't really know what the full story is. Bill Clinton certainly had his share of flaws too, but he was one of the best presidents this country ever had. So far I haven't read anything on his political career that sways me one way or the other. For now, I just appreciate what he did in that hearing.
Elizabeth (silly American) :)

Elizabeth, thanks for your reply. No, I didn't mean you were silly at all and I am really sorry if I gave that impression. My comment certainly was NOT aimed at you, and I have no reason to accuse you of being gullible. I agree Galloway was brilliant at the hearing, and I am delighted he said what he said. I also share your views on Bill Clinton - I was living in Belfast when he did so much for the people there.
Hope I've dug myself out of that hole, me and my big (silly) mouth. Thanks for getting back to me. All the best till you give me another telling off.
