The Educational Phallus Of Fortrose.
It's all a bit much for the folks of Fortrose on the Black Isle (which is not an isle) in the Scottish Highlands. Controversial (because this is the Highlands) sculptures in a school courtyard, one of which has been described by locals as "phallic".
"What's that got to do with education?", a resident protests. Ask the boys and girls, dearie.
Amusingly, the artist who created the sculptures is called Doug Cocker who, judging by his comments to the local press, is a bit of a prick himself.
