Global Warming - Bush Won't Listen.
Greed, self interest, sheer stupidity, call it what you will. All the evidence from all the world means nothing to George W. Bush and his cronies. They don't want to listen, they are determined not to listen. All the suffering and consequences of American policy on other parts of the planet, whether it be from global warming or military and political interference, do not matter. As long as America benefits the rest of us can go hang.
And they all scratch their heads and wonder why the world hates them.
Fortunately there are some Americans capable of comprehending the wider picture, but until Dubyas' head is forcibly yanked out of the sand and he is consigned to retirement in whatever swamp he crawled out of, people all over the world are just going to see their lives get worse and America is going to become more and more unpopular everywhere.

Bravo! I would only change two things. Some American businesses benefit from Bush's idiocy. It doesn't help the average American with health care, education or funding for the arts, among many other things this President doesn't seem to care about.
I would change "some Americans" to millions of Americans, who protest, who write articles, who petition and complain, all to no effing avail.
Keep on calling them out, Colin!

Elizabeth, thanks. You're right, "some Americans" was sloppy. I know the "some" run into millions and I admire them for voicing their outrage and concern.
