Police - Lies And Worse.
In the wake of the revelations following the de Menezes killing by police in London, Brazil is sending it's own mission to investigate what happened. So they should, considering the catalogue of lies, deception and attempts at covering up the truth which are now emerging.
The news that the London police tried to stop the IPCC investigating the incident is horrifying proof that they cannot be trusted. Sir Ian Blair, the Chief Constable has, in my opinion, been caught red handed acting like any other bent copper and should resign now, or be fired.
A public enquiry is required, as asked for by the family of the victim of this abhorrent mess, and I would presume, if there is any justice - and with the police being involved, that is open to question - prosecutions of those involved should take place. Murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice immediately spring to mind.
