Wee Jack Wakes Up Briefly.
Scottish First Minister Jack McConnell has finally woken up long enough to instruct his Scottish Executive colleagues to lobby the Home Office about the methods they use when arresting asylum seekers and their families for deportation.
As usual, this is too little and too late, and one has to wonder if anyone in the government south of the border ever listens to Wee Jack anyway.
Members of the Scottish Parliament shouldn't be politely lobbying over this, they should be screaming bloody murder about anyone being treated like this in our country.
