Thirty Police Shootings, No Convictions.
Following up on my post yesterday about the police killing of Harry Stanley, this piece from the Independent lists the fatal shootings by police in the UK going as far back as 1993.
There are 30. Not one officer has been convicted of any of them.
Pretty shocking.

It's disgusting. In France, cops and trade unions are up in arms when a cop gets killed, but when a young man from the wrong side of the tracks get's 'accidentally' shot by a cop...nought.zilch.nada. For those who read French I posted about it at librechoix.blogspot.com
Thanks Jez. Unfortunately I don't read French, and would have been interested in reading that.
I just don't understand why the British public are so docile over police killings - and everything else that is going on regarding cops, civil liberty, human rights, etc. etc. etc.
It's very depressing.
