The American Response To Democracy.
The United States State Department has asked the Palestinian Authority to return $50m of aid, saying it does not want the money to go to a Hamas-led government that refuses to recognise Israel.
The spreading and recognition of democracy, American style. We love democracy - as long as it's the democracy WE choose.
The Palestinian Authority has agreed to return the money, most of which is still in the bank.
A dignified response from the Palestinians to a country which has lost the moral high ground in everything they say and everything they touch.
