Glorifying Bad Law.
MPs voted today to reinstate a new offence of glorifying terrorism in the Government's Terror Bill, rejecting a series of Lords amendments to the legislation.
The Government won a vote on the glorification clause by 315 votes to 277.
"Glorification has no place and should have no place in our law. It is incapable of proper interpretation .... and risks criminalising those the Government does not intend to criminalise. It is, frankly, as a concept, rubbish." (Shadow attorney general Dominic Grieve)
Careful what you say out there, or PM Blair and PC Blair will be round to get you.
