Park Trident On Your Own Doorstep, Tony.

Scotland on Sunday report that the Ministry of Defence are drawing up plans to move the UK's nuclear missiles south of the border - a further indication of the panic in London at the mere thought of an SNP victory at the polls in May.

Three locations in England and one in Wales are being considered by the MOD, but most Scots consider the final destination of these weapons of mass destuction is a no-brainer.......

And the sooner they're sailing south out of Scotland for the last time the better.

Oh well shame about the 11,000 Scottish jobs that depend upon it. There again after the SNP take control the whole economy will collapse anyway, so who cares!

Thanks for saying, Pete.

It always amazes me how so many in the UK seem to think Scotland could never manage its affairs (economic or otherwise) without the help of the English, despite the fact that so many other small countries in Europe and elsewhere in the world do exceptionally well without English colonialism.

Ireland is an obvious example. Having lived in Northern Ireland for some time and having close ties there, I never could understand the Ulster determination to remain a part of the UK, when just over the border a thriving and civilized European society flourished.

As for the 11,000 Scottish jobs that depend on weapons of mass destruction - better 11,000 lost jobs than the possibility of God knows how many lost lives because a London government wants to play above its weight on the international stage, the results of which we are now witnessing in Iraq and Afghanistan and may, as looks increasingly likely, witness in Iran in the near future.
