I do believe we are at a point when the police think they are, or should be, above the law. What a scary prospect. Thousands of Anonymous in uniforms!!! :)

Anonymous, I will assume you are all the one person. As you are anonymous, and cannot conduct a rational conversation without resorting to insulting name calling, you can expect no more than being lumped in with every other unoriginal crank that thinks being offensive to others is a way to make a point they don't have the intellect to put over to us poor "dickheads".

I was going to continue here to answer your comments about Blair and why he should resign, but I know it would be a waste of my time - instead be grateful I have acknowledged your existence at all.

The point is anonymous, Ian Blair stood up and stated that it was definitely a terrorist suspect who had been shot, there was no doubt about it, if you believed what he said.

If it were upto Ian Blair then the IPCC wouldn't be investigating Jean Charles de Menezes murder at all, and the police would have had some hushed up internal inquiry, where the innocence of Jean Charles would have most likely still been questioned.

Considering that this was an innocent man who was murdered, and the Met Police tried to prevent an investigation from taking place, while still claiming the man tried to run from them after being warned, I think that it is right that Ian Blair should resign, in light of all the above, how many more innocents will have to die if not? And how can you believe the words of Ian Blair after all the lies?

Ian Blair is a threat to our national security now because of the loss of trust in him.

I quite agree Colcam, I wouldn't trust the police as far as I could throw them. They've quite obviously lied, and then attempted to cover up their lies following the murder of Jean Charles de Menezes.

And what's all this "mistake" stuff about? This was a murder. If a member of the public held someone down while some of their friends shot an innocent victim several times in the head, then they would be guilty of murder. If people they knew then lied about that murder afterwards they would be taken in by the police and questioned.

The police quite obviously believe that they are above the law, and apparently are giving murderers family holidays now.

Ian Blair should resign, all those responsible for murdering Mr de Menezes should be slung into cells, not be given holidays.

If Anon had the guts to not be anonymous, he might be worthy of the term Brit. Instead I will call him Little Englander.

If Little Englander possessed an attention span longer than a two year old he could easily have checked out my opinion of George Galloway. I've said plenty about him on this blog.

I have also said plenty in previous posts on my opinions of anonymous cowards, but I didn't have to lower myself to their standards by calling them pricks, much as I might like to.

This wasn't an execution dickhead, it was a mistake. We all feel terribly sorry for the man who lost his life, but put it into context. The police have a thankless job to do, made even more difficult by pricks like yourself and in the aftermath of an attempt by the ragheads to MURDER even more people in London, a mistake was inevitable.
The police were tired, overworked and completely hyped up. I don't know the circumstances behind the incident, but more importantly, neither do you.

Whatever you may think, the police in our country do not "execute" people.
Go and crawl back into the hole you came from. I wouldn't be surprised if you are a fan of that other prick George Gallowy.
