Thanks Elektrofly - Gee you complicate matters ;) for others, Elektrofly was commenting on the next post, Polar bears are drowning, got confused and posted in the wrong place. Fortunately he can't confuse me because I'm permanently and terminally confused anyway.

But to answer his point on global warming, possibly his geometry prof will turn out to be right, but I have my doubts and wouldn't want to rest the fate of the planet on his theory. I prefer to give credence to the opinions of experts world-wide who have hard data to back up their findings.

As for Texas - 30 bloody degrees and you're moaning? Here at the ass-end-of-nowhere it's minus 6c and pissing rain, the wind is blowing hard and the back garden is flooded. 30 degrees? If only!

yu know, on the one hand i stress out about global warming, but then i think, the earth had been a much warmer overall temperature for millions of years and really we are still on the tail-end of the great ice-age (at least according to my geometry prof) so maybe the perceived 'global warming' is just a natural return to equilibrium...
meanwhile it's unseasonably cold in texas it almost got to the thirties this week :()
