Having lived in Northern Ireland for some time and having close ties there, I never could understand the Ulster determination to remain a part of the UK, when just over the border a thriving and civilized European society flourished.<BR/><BR/>As for the 11,000 Scottish jobs that depend on weapons of mass destruction - better 11,000 lost jobs than the possibility of God knows how many lost lives because a London government wants to play above its weight on the international stage, the results of which we are now witnessing in Iraq and Afghanistan and may, as looks increasingly likely, witness in Iran in the near future.Colcamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06579763090094356733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10951097.post-58240265456779077322007-04-15T16:14:00.000+01:002007-04-15T16:14:00.000+01:00Oh well shame about the 11,000 Scottish jobs that depend upon it.
